The Anglophone Cameroonian students in Hamburg meeting on 28.01.00 in Hamburg, in due respect of the Cameroonian law No. 67- LF – 19 authorising the formation of Cameroonian associations abroad and of the German law BGB§§ 21 – 70 authorising the formation of foreign association in Germany, did resolve to form an association called the Cameroon Anglophone Association Hamburg (CAAH).
The official languages of CAAH are English and German. The seat of CAAH is Hamburg.
CAAH is an autonomous association with independent opinion on all matters of interest. CAAH is a non-profit making association and its activities are subject to the German law of taxation.
Goals of CAAH:
- To bring together all Anglophone Cameroonian students and non-students in Hamburg
- To create a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas between Cameroonians and other nationals living in Germany
- To propagate information concerning the socio-cultural and scientific life of Cameroon
- To promote solidarity among its members
- To present the Cameroonian culture to the German public
- To co-operate with other associations an institutions with similar objectives. The condition for such co-operation will be decided upon by the general assembly
